Aggreko gir strøm til stor
fotballfest

New Orleans Saints og Indianapolis Colts profesjonelle fotball
lag er ikke den eneste kraften som vil være på denne søndagen på
Sun Life Field i Miami. Dette fordi Aggreko, verdensledende
innen midlertidtig
strøm og temperaturkontroll løsninger, vil
forsyne i stor skala strømgeneratorer og temperaturkontroll
løsninger til den årlige Superbowl kampen og showet.
Aggreko forsynte også samme service til sist helgs profesjonelle
all-star game i fotball.

Måneder med planlegging og forbredelser, Aggreko Event
Services (AES), hoved event avdelingen i Aggreko North
America, er ansvarlig for å forsyne kraft og strøm til alt fra lys
og videoskjermer til The Who’s opptreden, til sikkerhet på
stadionen. AES vil også forsyne strøm og temperaturkontroll til
innenlandsk og internasjonal media, tv-sendinger, internet og radio
sendinger til mer enn 200 land i verden.

that will ensure uninterrupted power, comfort and security for this
year’s championship, surrounding events and broadcast,” sa David
Prince, project manager for Aggreko Event Services.
As well as providing rental power to the big game and halftime
show, security and broadcast compounds, Aggreko is also powering
both teams’ practice facilities and several celebration sites and
VIP areas. An event of this magnitude requires an enormous amount
of time and equipment. Aggreko’s national network of more than 50
service centers will provide:
- Enough Aggreko generators and power
distribution for 30,000 medium-sized homes
- 400 tons
of heating and cooling
- More than 47 miles of cable - enough to
stretch across 83 football fields, or from Sun Life Stadium in
Miami Gardens to Delray Beach
The team of 12 Aggreko employees began the lengthy process of
installing the complex array of equipment more than a month prior
to the game. The dismantling is expected to take another two weeks
once the final whistle blows.
